From Vegetarian to This?

When the first Westerners from Portugal entered Japan in the mid-1500's, the Japanese were offended and disgusted by Westerners' barbaric practice of consuming meat. Many Japanese at the time were, of course, Buddhist.

Fast forward to 2006..... CNN reports that "Mad for U.S. beef, herd heads to Tokyo eatery."
